Hi! My name is Troy Carter, and I’m primarily a freelance audio engineer working in production from pre through post. I specialize in dialogue-based projects such as audiobooks, e-learning, and podcasts.
I enjoy working with dialogue because I have a natural interest in new ideas and abstract concepts. I crave exposure to novel information, whether it’s simple, complex, practical, philosophical, creative, or completely unexpected. I’m a prolific reader with an interest in a wide range of topics.
This is my online library where I share books for which I have an audiobook production credit, as well as books I have read personally. I created this library as a way to share the knowledge, ideas, and perspectives I’ve picked up from years of reading and listening closely.
Some of these books I chose on my own. Some were assigned to me through work. Others were recommended by people whose taste I trust. My hope is that this site becomes a place where people who love reading as much as I do can discover new books, explore new ideas, and maybe find something they did not know they were looking for.
